Welcome to Barrett Hodgson University (BHU). Our aim is to be recognized as a Centre of Excellence in the marketplace, where academic pursuits are nurtured and developed. We want to be recognized as an institution of higher education that is globally competitive and specifically oriented towards the future.

The world is changing, and changing fast. Technological disruption is reconfiguring the way we operate, whether it relates to the process of business operations or the very way we look and solve our problems. It is also instigating the collapse of distance and the emergence of the global marketplace. Thus, Global focus, and an orientation towards the future are at the heart of our game plan, a strategy that is grounded on four pillars:

  1. Development of academic linkages with Universities that are leaders in the market: International as well as national institutions of higher education.
  2. Development of strategic linkages with the corporate sector to become the market leader in applied research, write case studies, initiate action research for finding solutions to industry problems, and support the process of student placements.
  3. Transformation of the pedagogy of learning from the centuries old lecture based teaching methodology towards flipped classrooms and blended learning with the aim of facilitating the process of thinking, questioning, and problem solving.
  4. Intellectual broadening and personality development of the students through workshop style courses, industry visits, language labs, sports, and co-curricular activities.

I invite you to explore our website, take a 360-degree tour, or visit our campus and experience our University.
